Our Policy on Copyright

SharedBedroom.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Site to do the same. The Site displays video content embedded from third-party hosting platforms; we do not host, upload, or store video files on our own servers. Nonetheless, we take copyright infringement seriously and will respond promptly to valid notices submitted in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

Notice of Claimed Infringement

If you believe that content appearing on the Site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing all of the following information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

1. A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list.
3. Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate it on the Site (e.g., the full URL of the page where the content appears).
4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

DMCA Agent Contact

We will respond to valid DMCA notices within 5–10 business days. Because our content is primarily embedded from third-party platforms, we will remove the embed link from our Site and, where possible, forward your notice to the third-party host so they may act on the original file.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistaken or misidentified DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA agent. A valid counter-notification must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the content that was removed and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
3. A statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the party who submitted the original DMCA notice.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a lawsuit within 10–14 business days, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and applicable law, we have a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users or accounts who are determined to be repeat infringers.

Personal Content Removal (Revenge Porn / Non-Consensual Intimate Images)

If you appear in any content displayed on the Site and did not consent to its publication, please contact us immediately at dmca@sharedbedroom.com with a description of the content and the URL where it appears. We treat these requests with the highest priority and will investigate and remove non-consensual intimate images promptly. You do not need to file a formal DMCA notice for this type of request.
